How do I care and make sure my candle remains safe to burn?
Please abide by all federal warnings/burning instructions. Burn your candle/wax brittle within sight and do not leave it unattended for any reason. This includes taking a nap or going to bed. If something seems not right with your candle/wax brittle, immediately blow out your candle/turn off your wax burner. Make sure you burn your candle/wax brittle on a level, fire resistant surface. Keep away from flammable objects, foreign materials, children, pets, open windows, fans, or drafty areas. Any burst of "wind" can cause a candle flame to dance, smoke, bend, or flame higher which can cause an uneven burn and unsafe conditions. ALWAYS trim your wick before each use to 1/4". Taking care of the wick will allow your candle to burn properly. If your wick is "drowning" simply blow out the candle and use a napkin to absorb some of the pooling wax. DO NOT burn your candle/wax brittle for longer than 4 hours. For the first burn, plan on having your candle lit for at least an hour to help candle memory and avoid extreme tunneling of the candle. When reaching the bottom of the candle, stop use when it has liquified and you can see the bottom of the container/dough bowl. Burn at your own risk and burn responsibly!
What are the candles and wax melts made with and how big are they?
Candles and wax melts are made with organic beeswax and premium fragrance that is:
-formaldehyde free - gluten free - irradiation free - paraben free - phthalate free
-SLS/SLES free - BSE/TSE free - not tested on animals - vegan - pesticide free

The wood wick in the candle is slow burning and gives off a slight crackling sound. The wick is a smokeless burn. Each candle's ounces is specified in the description. Wax melts are approximately 2oz. Candles and wax melts are NOT edible.
How do I care for my wax melts?
Simply place 1-2 pieces into a wax burner (not included) and let it melt. This wax that has melted in the burner can be reheated until the scent has become not as fragrant. Do not add more brittle when this happens, reheat the wax until melted and using a napkin, paper towel, or cotton ball place it into the wax and let it absorb. Once absorbed discard the old wax and place new pieces of brittle into the burner. For lighter fragrance I recommend 1 piece and for more fragrant 2-3 pieces. Be careful not to place too many pieces into the burner, as you do not want it to overflow. Never leave your burner unattended or left on without being home. Follow instructions recommended by your burners manufacture.
Why are my dough bowls different in size and color?
Each dough bowl is hand crafted and unique. Each bowl will vary in its shape, size, and color.
How do I use my fire starter and are they safe for my fireplace?
Yes, fire starters are safe for inside fireplace use and outside fireplace use.. All materials are eco-friendly and will burn clean. The beeswax does not leave residue if burned all the way. It evaporates nicely and is a clean burn. It can actually let your flame burn cleaner and brighter as beeswax is an air purifier.
Just remember these instructions-
• Only for use in approved indoor wood burning fireplace/stove and fire pits and campfires
• Keep out of reach from children and pets
• Only light the wick when fire starter is in the desired location
• Do not hold in hand and light
• Do not use as a candle or wax melt
How long is processing and shipping?
Please allow 1-3 business days for processing your order. In the spring and summer months, all shipping orders are automatically bumped to 2-3 day shipping to avoid melting. Candle(s) will be shipped in the proper packaging for these months to help avoid melting.
Please send me a message to confirm processing time if item(s) are needed by a certain time frame. Shipping time is separate from processing time. Shipping time can take up to 7 business days in fall and winter.
